Possible Causes

Stuck water inlet valve, Faulty pressure sensor, Leaking tub or hose causing false level reading, Control board sensing overflow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply immediately if you suspect overflow or leaks.

  • Check for visible leaks: Look around and under the washer for standing water. Inspect inlet hoses, drain hose, and tub-to-pump hose for drips or cracks.
  • Inspect water inlet valve: Turn off water taps, then disconnect hoses at the back. If water continues to flow from the valve outlets with power off, the valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Verify pressure hose: Ensure the pressure sensor hose is intact and not disconnected, which can cause the control to think the tub is empty when it is full.
  • Dry base (if equipped with leak sensor): Some Comfee models have a float or sensor in the base pan. If water is present, carefully tilt the washer and soak up water with towels. Find and fix the source of the leak before reuse.
  • Test after repair: Restore water and power, then run a short cycle while monitoring for leaks and checking if E9 reappears.
