Possible Causes
Hot and cold hoses reversed, Faulty inlet valve not closing, Defective NTC sensor, Control board misreading sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water supply and unplug the washer before swapping hoses.
- Verify hose connections: Ensure the hot water hose is connected to the hot inlet and cold to cold on the washer rear panel.
- Test valves: During a cold wash, feel the inlet hoses. If the hot hose becomes warm, the hot valve may be leaking or miswired.
- Inspect NTC: If temperatures are erratic, test and replace the NTC sensor as needed.
- Control board: Persistent incorrect temperatures with good valves and sensor may indicate a PCB fault.
