Washer door will not unlock at the end of the cycle; clothes are trapped inside.

Safety first: Do not force the door open; you may damage the lock or glass. Unplug the washer before manual release.

• Wait a few minutes: Many Comfee models delay unlocking for 1–3 minutes after spin for safety.
• Check for water: If water is visible in the drum, run a drain/spin cycle. If the washer will not drain, clear the pump filter and hose.
• Manual release: Access the emergency door release (often a pull cord near the pump filter behind the lower front panel). Pull gently to unlock the door.
• Inspect lock: After opening, test the door lock operation. If it frequently sticks, replace the door lock assembly.
