How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply before working around water connections.
- Inspect gasket: Open the door and carefully examine the rubber door boot all the way around. Look for tears, holes, or mold buildup.
- Clean seal: Wipe the gasket groove and glass with a damp cloth to remove detergent residue and lint that can break the seal.
- Check clamps: Ensure the outer and inner retaining clamps are in place and tight. If the gasket is loose, reseat and tighten the clamp.
- Replace gasket: If damaged, remove the front panel and clamps, install a new OEM door gasket, and refit clamps securely.
