Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer. Heating and sensor circuits can carry hazardous voltage when powered.
Check NTC and wiring:
- Follow the NTC location and testing steps in the F05 procedure.
- Inspect the wiring harness from the NTC to the control board for chafing or shorts, especially where it passes near the heater terminals.
Corrective action: Replace the NTC sensor if resistance is out of specification or intermittent when gently wiggling the wires. If sensor and wiring are good, the control board may misread the temperature and require replacement.
