Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer.
Check door lock switch contacts:
- Access the door lock assembly as in F13.
- Using a multimeter, test the door-closed switch contacts while manually actuating the lock. Contacts should open and close reliably.
- Inspect the harness from the lock to the control board for loose connections or broken conductors.
Corrective action: Replace the door lock assembly if the switch contacts are intermittent or out of spec. If the lock and wiring are good, the main control board input may be defective and require replacement.
