Washer displays "Sd" or "Sud"; excessive suds; cycle may pause while machine attempts to clear foam.

Immediate steps:

• Do not add more detergent. Allow the washer to continue; many Crosley models will add extra rinses automatically to clear suds.
• If the washer stalls, cancel the cycle and run a Rinse/Spin with no detergent.

Prevent recurrence:

• Use only HE (high-efficiency) detergent and measure according to load size and soil level—often much less than a full cap.
• If you have soft water, reduce detergent further.
• Periodically clean the pressure hose and air dome as in F08 if Sd errors are frequent.
