Washer stops before or during spin; displays UE or "unbalanced"; drum may rock violently.

Basic correction:

• Pause the cycle and redistribute the load. Mix large items (like a single blanket) with smaller items to balance weight.
• Ensure the washer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling feet and lock them in place.

If UE is frequent with normal loads:

• Inspect suspension rods (top-load) or shock absorbers (front-load) for leaks, broken mounts, or excessive play. Replace as a set if worn.
• Verify that shipping bolts were removed on new installations.
