Washer leaks water from the front or bottom during wash or spin.

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water. Mop up standing water to avoid slipping.

Identify leak source:

• Remove the front lower panel or rear panel and run a short fill cycle while observing with a flashlight (keep clear of moving parts).
• Check the door boot (gasket) for tears or holes, especially at the bottom.
• Inspect all hoses and clamps from tub to pump and pump to drain for drips.
• Examine the pump body for cracks or leaks at the seal.

Corrective action: Replace the door boot if torn, tighten or replace hose clamps, and replace any cracked hoses or pump assemblies. If leaks occur only with heavy suds, reduce detergent usage.
