Possible Causes
Low mains voltage or unstable supply, Faulty power cord or plug, Defective noise filter / EMI filter board, Damaged main control PCB power section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the wall socket and unplug the washer before inspection.
- Check power outlet: Plug another appliance (like a lamp) into the same socket to confirm proper voltage. Avoid using thin extension cords or multi-plugs.
- Inspect power cord: Examine the Dawlance washer's power cord for cuts, burns, or loose plug pins. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Check voltage (advanced): Use a multimeter to verify that the supply voltage is within the range specified on the washer's rating plate (often 220–240 V). If voltage is low or fluctuating, consult an electrician.
- Inspect EMI filter and PCB (advanced): Remove the top or rear panel to access the noise filter and main PCB. Look for burnt components, swollen capacitors, or darkened areas. Replace the EMI filter if burnt; PCB repair should be done by a qualified technician.
Do not bypass safety components. If E10 continues with a known good power supply, contact Dawlance service for PCB replacement.
