Possible Causes
Open-circuit drain pump winding, Burnt pump connector, Broken wire in pump harness, Faulty pump triac/relay on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and manually drain water via the drain filter or by lowering the drain hose into a bucket.
- Check pump connector: Access the pump from the bottom or rear. Ensure the electrical connector is firmly attached and not burnt.
- Test pump winding: Disconnect the pump and measure resistance across the terminals. Typical values are 150–300 Ω (varies by model). If open-circuit, replace the pump.
- Inspect wiring harness: Trace the wires from the pump to the PCB for cuts, burns, or loose connections. Repair as needed.
If the pump and wiring are good but E22 remains, the control board's pump driver circuit may be defective and requires professional repair or replacement.
