Possible Causes
Internal microswitch failure in door lock, Loose door lock connector, Broken wire between lock and PCB, Faulty PCB input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer.
- Check door lock connector: Access the door lock behind the front panel or gasket and ensure the wiring plug is secure.
- Test lock microswitch (advanced): With the lock removed, use a multimeter to check continuity of the switch when the lock is engaged. If it does not change state, replace the door lock assembly.
If wiring and lock are good, the control board may not be reading the signal correctly and should be checked by a Dawlance technician.
