Possible Causes

Safety first: Unplug the washer and allow it to cool.

Inspect heater and NTC: Access the heater assembly at the bottom of the tub. Check for loose connectors or burnt marks.
Test heater and NTC: Use a multimeter to verify heater resistance and NTC values at room temperature. Replace any component out of specification.
