Possible Causes
Incorrectly seated pressure sensor hose, Faulty pressure sensor, Control board misreading level, Small leak causing slow water loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps before internal inspection.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around and under the washer for signs of water loss that could lower the level.
- Inspect pressure hose (advanced): Remove the top cover and verify the small hose from the tub to the pressure sensor is firmly attached at both ends and not cracked.
- Reset machine: After reseating the hose, unplug the washer for 5–10 minutes, then retry a cycle.
If E16 continues, the pressure sensor or control board may require replacement by a service technician.
