Washer does not take in fabric softener, softener remains in compartment

Safety first: Unplug the washer before deep cleaning the dispenser if removing top cover.

• Clean siphon cap: Remove the softener compartment insert and rinse thoroughly. Ensure the small siphon tube is clear.
• Dilute softener: Mix softener with water up to the max line, do not overfill.
• Clean jets: Use a small brush or toothpick to clear the water jets above the softener compartment.

Regular cleaning of the dispenser prevents softener issues.
