How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure your hands are dry when working with electrical outlets.

Check household supply: Verify that the circuit breaker or fuse for the washer circuit has not tripped. Reset if necessary.
Test outlet: Plug a known working device into the same socket to confirm power is present.
Inspect cord: Examine the Defy washer's power cord for visible damage. Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged.
Try a different socket: If possible, test the washer on another outlet to rule out socket issues.

If the washer remains completely dead, the internal power supply or control board may have failed and should be checked by a technician.
