Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve assembly, Low household water pressure or closed supply tap, Faulty water level pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off both hot and cold water supply valves before working on hoses or valves.
- Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold faucets are fully open. Verify good water pressure by disconnecting a hose from the back of the washer and briefly opening the tap into a bucket.
- Clean inlet filters: At the back of the washer, remove the inlet hoses. Inside the valve ports you will see small mesh screens. Gently pull them out with needle-nose pliers and rinse under running water to remove sediment. Reinstall carefully.
- Inspect hoses: Make sure hoses are not kinked, crushed, or frozen. Replace any damaged hoses.
- Test a quick cycle: Restore water and power, then run a quick wash. If E10 returns, the inlet valve or pressure sensor may be faulty.
- Advanced check (for skilled users): With power disconnected, access the top or rear panel to reach the water inlet valve assembly. Use a multimeter to check coil resistance; an open coil indicates a bad valve that must be replaced.
If you are not comfortable using a multimeter or removing panels, contact a qualified technician.
