Possible Causes
Leaking tub seal, Cracked outer tub, Loose hose clamp on circulation or drain hose, Faulty pressure sensor causing overfill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and shut off water supply. Avoid using the machine until the leak is found.
- Inspect door and front: Check for water streaks from the door area or front panel. Examine the door boot for tears.
- Check internal hoses: Remove front lower and rear panels. Inspect all visible hoses and clamps for drips while filling (you may need to briefly power the unit for observation; use extreme caution and keep hands clear).
- Look at tub area: Shine a flashlight around the outer tub. Cracks or a failed tub seal often leave mineral deposits or rust trails.
- Verify pressure sensor: If the tub appears to overfill, inspect the pressure hose and sensor as described for E11. A faulty sensor can cause overflow and leaks.
Outer tub or main seal replacement is complex and usually requires a professional.
