Possible Causes

Stuck water inlet valve, Faulty pressure sensor reading too low, Blocked pressure hose, Control board not shutting valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Immediate action: If the washer is actively filling uncontrollably, unplug it and close the water supply valves immediately.

  • Check inlet valves: With power off and water supply closed, disconnect hoses and inspect the inlet valve. If water continues to flow through the valve when the supply is opened but the machine is unplugged, the valve is mechanically stuck and must be replaced.
  • Inspect pressure system: Follow the steps for E31/E32 to clean and check the pressure hose and sensor.
  • Test fill behavior: After reassembly, run a small load and watch the fill. If the water level rises above normal and the valve does not shut off promptly, replace the inlet valve and/or pressure sensor.

Persistent overfill after component replacement may indicate a control board fault requiring professional service.
