How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before attempting to open a stuck door by hand.
- Emergency door release: Many Electrolux models have a manual release tab near the door lock behind the lower front panel or gasket. Pull gently to open the door.
- Inspect lock assembly: Remove the door lock and check for signs of overheating, broken plastic, or corrosion. Replace if any defects are found.

- Test operation: After replacement, run a short cycle and verify that the door locks at start and unlocks at the end.
