Safety: Ensure the outlet is switched off or unplug the cord before opening any panels. Mains voltage can be lethal.

Verify outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance or a tester. Reset any tripped breaker or GFCI.
Inspect power cord: Check for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace if damaged.
Check internal connections (advanced): Remove the top panel and locate the mains input connector on the main control board. Ensure it is fully seated and wires are secure.
Fuse check: Some Electrolux boards have an onboard fuse. If accessible and visibly blown, the board or fuse may need replacement, but the underlying cause (short) must be found.
