Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, faulty motor, worn motor brushes, defective motor triac on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer before removing the rear panel.
- Check belt: Remove the rear panel and inspect the belt between the motor and drum pulley. Refit if slipped; replace if broken or frayed.
- Spin drum by hand: If very stiff or grinding, suspect a bearing or foreign object.
- Inspect motor: Check wiring and brushes (if fitted). Replace worn brushes.
If the belt and motor are good, the control board may not be driving the motor and should be tested by a technician.
