• Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, disconnect the inlet hoses from the back of the Grundig washer, and remove the small mesh filters inside the valve ports. Rinse under running water and brush off debris. Reinstall filters and hoses, ensuring rubber gaskets are seated correctly.
• Check inlet hoses: Inspect hoses for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage (especially anti-flood hoses). Straighten or replace as needed.
• Test the water inlet valve: With the machine unplugged, remove the top cover and locate the inlet valve assembly. Check the coil resistance with a multimeter (compare to Grundig specifications, typically 2–4 kΩ). If a coil is open or shorted, replace the valve assembly.
