• Inspect drum interior: Run your hand carefully around the inside of the drum and along the drum paddles. Look for protruding objects in the holes.
• Check drum paddles: Some Grundig models have removable paddles. If a paddle is loose, remove it (usually by sliding or releasing a clip) and inspect underneath for trapped objects.
• Use a light and mirror: Shine a flashlight through the drum holes to look for foreign objects between drum and tub.
• Access via heater opening: If necessary, remove the heater from the bottom rear of the tub and use long-nose pliers to retrieve objects from the gap.
