• Check retaining bands: The gasket is held by inner and outer metal or wire bands. Ensure both are tight and properly seated in their grooves. If a band is broken or loose, replace it.
• Control suds: If the leak occurs only with heavy foaming, reduce detergent quantity and use a low-suds detergent suitable for high-efficiency Grundig washers.
