Possible Causes

Blocked pressure hose, Faulty pressure sensor, Air leak in pressure tube, Wiring issue between sensor and PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply before opening any panels.

  • Locate the pressure sensor: On most Haier washers, the water level sensor is mounted near the top side wall with a small rubber hose running down to the tub or air chamber.
  • Inspect the hose: Remove the hose from the sensor and tub connection. Blow gently through it to clear soap residue or lint. Ensure there are no cracks or pinholes.
  • Check for water in the hose: The hose should contain air, not water. If water is present, drain it and verify the air chamber on the tub is not clogged.
  • Reconnect and test: Reattach the hose securely and run a short cycle. If E7 returns, the sensor may be faulty.
  • Replace the sensor if needed: Disconnect the wiring connector and remove the mounting screw or clip. Install a new Haier-compatible pressure sensor and reconnect wiring and hose.
