Possible Causes

Stuck-open water inlet valve, Faulty pressure sensor not detecting full level, Siphoning due to incorrect drain hose installation, Main PCB not shutting valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer immediately and turn off both water supply valves to stop filling.

  • Check water level: If the drum is overfilled, manually drain water using the emergency drain hose or pump filter at the front bottom of the machine.
  • Inspect inlet valves: With the washer unplugged and water supply turned off, disconnect hoses and check for debris that may prevent the valve from closing. If water continues to flow into the tub when supply is on and power is off, the valve is mechanically stuck and must be replaced.
  • Verify drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height (usually 60–100 cm above floor) and not inserted too far into the standpipe, which can cause siphoning.
  • Check pressure sensor and hose: Follow the steps for E7 to ensure accurate water level detection.
  • If problem recurs: The main control board may be failing to close the valve electrically and may require replacement by a technician.
