Possible Causes
Pressure switch stuck at wrong level, Blocked pressure chamber, Faulty NTC sensor misreading temperature, Control module logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the machine to cool before working near the heater or tub.
- Clean pressure chamber: Locate the air chamber on the side of the tub where the pressure hose connects. Detach it and clean out sludge or detergent buildup that can trap air and give false readings.
- Inspect pressure hose: Ensure the hose is clear and properly seated at both the tub and pressure switch.
- Test NTC sensor: Measure its resistance at room temperature and compare with specifications. Replace if readings are out of range or unstable.
- Reset and test: After cleaning and replacing parts, run a 40 °C cycle and monitor water level and heating. If E12 returns, the control module may require replacement.
