Safety first: Unplug the washer before internal checks.

• Reduce detergent use: If you see a lot of foam in the door glass, run an extra rinse cycle without detergent. Use only high-efficiency detergent and follow the dosing instructions for Hansa washers.
• Clean pressure hose: Foam can enter the pressure hose and cause false readings. Remove the hose from the tub and switch, rinse it thoroughly, and ensure it is clear.
• Run a maintenance cycle: Run an empty 60 °C cycle with no detergent to clear residues from the tub and hoses.
• Replace pressure switch if recurring: If E22 appears frequently even with correct detergent use, the pressure switch may be overly sensitive or faulty. Replace it.
