Possible Causes
Mechanically stuck water inlet valve, Debris in valve seat, Excessive water pressure, Incorrectly installed inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Close the water tap immediately and unplug the washer.
- Confirm valve fault: With the washer unplugged and tap open, if water still enters the drum, the inlet valve is stuck open.
- Replace inlet valve: Remove the top cover, disconnect hoses and wiring from the valve, and install a new Hansa-compatible inlet valve assembly.
- Flush supply: Before connecting the new valve, briefly flush the supply hose into a bucket to remove debris.
- Adjust pressure: If household pressure is very high, partially close the tap or install a pressure reducer.
