Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply, blocked inlet filter screens, failed water inlet valve (solenoid), kinked inlet hose.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off the water tap before disconnecting hoses.
F17 indicates a filling problem.
- Check the water supply: Ensure the tap feeding the washer is fully open and that household water pressure is adequate. Test by filling a bucket from the same tap.
- Clean the inlet filters: Turn off the tap and disconnect the inlet hose from the back of the washer. Inside the valve are small mesh filters; gently remove and clean them under running water.
- Inspect the hose: Check the inlet hose for kinks or internal blockages. Replace if damaged.
- Test the inlet valve: With the machine unplugged, access the inlet valve from the top/rear. Check the electrical connector is secure. Measure coil resistance (typically 3–5 kΩ). If open circuit, replace the valve.
- Reassemble and test the unit: Reconnect hoses, turn on water, restore power, and run a fill cycle.
