Possible Causes

Low mains water pressure, Blocked inlet filters, Kinked or frozen inlet hose, Faulty water inlet valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close the water tap.

H20 is a water supply-related error on many Hotpoint digital models.

  • Verify water pressure: Open the tap feeding the washer into a bucket. If flow is weak, contact your plumber or water supplier.
  • Clean inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hose at the washer. Remove and clean the small mesh filters in the valve.
  • Check hose condition: Ensure the hose is not kinked, crushed, or frozen (in cold environments). Replace if necessary.
  • Test inlet valve: Access the valve and check coil resistance. Replace the valve if open circuit or if it does not open when powered (testing live should only be done by qualified persons).
  • Re-test: Reconnect everything, turn on water, and run a rinse cycle.
