Possible Causes
Faulty NTC temperature sensor, Stuck heater relay, Incorrect program selection or eco settings, Scale build-up on heater affecting sensing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
- Verify settings: Ensure the correct temperature is selected and that eco or cold-wash options are not overriding your choice.
- Test NTC sensor: As under F03, measure the NTC resistance at room temperature and compare with specifications. Replace if out of range.
- Check heater control: If water overheats, the heater relay on the control board may be stuck on. This requires board repair or replacement.
- Descale: Run a descaling cycle with a proprietary descaler to remove limescale from the heater, which can affect temperature sensing.
