Display shows E CL or child lock symbol; buttons do not respond.

Safety: No internal repair is needed for simple lock activation.

• Disable child lock: Press and hold the designated key combination (often two specific buttons) for 3–5 seconds as indicated in the user manual until the lock indicator turns off.
• Power reset: Unplug the washer for 1 minute and plug back in to clear a stuck logic state.
• Check buttons: If the lock will not clear, inspect the control panel for stuck or damaged buttons. Replace the user interface board if buttons are non-responsive.
