Washer completes cycle but door remains locked; display may show E dLr or similar lock release error.

Safety: Unplug the washer before attempting to manually release the door lock.

• Manual release: Many Huebsch front-load models have a manual release tab near the door lock accessible from the bottom or front panel. Pull the tab to open the door.
• Inspect boot: Check the door boot (gasket) for swelling or misalignment that may bind the door. Re-seat or replace the boot if necessary.
• Check lock mechanism: Remove the door lock assembly and inspect for broken plastic parts or burnt coils. Replace the lock if damaged.
• Control output: If the lock is mechanically sound, test for voltage at the lock release coil at the end of a cycle. Lack of voltage indicates a control board fault.
