Possible Causes

Blocked pressure hose, Failed water level/pressure sensor, Stuck-open water inlet valve, Faulty main control board water level circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Emergency: If water is actively overflowing, turn off both water supply valves and unplug the washer immediately.

  • Check pressure hose: Remove the top panel to access the pressure sensor. Inspect the hose from the tub air dome to the sensor for disconnection, cracks, or soap residue blockage. Clean or replace as needed.
  • Test inlet valve: With the washer unplugged and water valves turned on, see if water still flows into the tub. If it does, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Replace pressure sensor: If the hose is clear and the valve is not stuck, replace the water level/pressure sensor and retest.
  • Control board: Persistent overfill after replacing sensor and valve points to a defective main control board that should be replaced.
