Water slowly seeps into the drum when the washer is off.

Safety: Turn off water supply and unplug the washer before servicing.

• Confirm seepage: Turn off the house water valves to the washer. If seepage stops, the inlet valve is the source.
• Inspect screens: Remove hoses and clean inlet screens to remove debris that may hold the valve open.
• Replace valve: If seepage continues, replace the water inlet valve assembly.
• Pressure regulator: If household pressure is very high, consider installing a pressure regulator.
