Steps:
- Access console: Remove the top panel and then the console screws to access the user interface (UI) board.
- Reseat UI connectors: Unplug and reconnect the ribbon cable and harnesses between the UI and main control (CCU).
- Inspect cables: Look for pinched or damaged ribbon cables. Replace if damaged.
- Test: Reassemble and power on. If F28 persists, replace the user interface board first. If still present, replace the main control board.
