Washer stops or will not spin; displays UE; drum may rock violently before stopping.

Possible Causes
Load bunched on one side, single heavy item causing imbalance, worn suspension rods or shocks, shipping bolts not removed (new install)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: If the washer is banging or walking, press Pause/Cancel and wait for the drum to stop before opening the door.
Steps:
- Redistribute load: Open the door and rearrange clothes evenly around the drum. Avoid washing a single heavy item alone.
- Check machine level: Ensure the washer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling feet and lock nuts.
- Verify shipping bolts: On new installations, confirm all rear shipping bolts have been removed from the tub.
- Inspect suspension: If UE occurs frequently with normal loads, inspect suspension rods (top-load) or shock absorbers (front-load) for leaks, breaks, or weakness and replace as a set if worn.
