Possible Causes
Loose or damaged pressure hose, Faulty water level sensor, Corroded sensor connector, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the top cover.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top panel. Locate the round pressure sensor and its small rubber hose. Ensure the hose is firmly attached at both ends and not cracked or blocked.
- Clear blockage: If soap residue is visible, remove the hose and gently blow through it to clear. Reinstall securely.
- Check wiring: Inspect the sensor connector for corrosion or loose pins. Reseat the connector.
- Replace sensor: If PE persists, replace the water level pressure sensor with an LG OEM part.
- Control board: If a new sensor and hose do not resolve the issue, the main PCB may be defective and should be tested by a technician.
