Possible Causes

Failed direct-drive motor, Defective Hall sensor, Broken rotor, Faulty main PCB motor drive

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before accessing the rear panel or motor.

  • Check for error codes: After a few minutes, see if LE, SE, or CE appears; follow those procedures.
  • Spin drum by hand: If the drum spins freely and quietly, the motor is not engaging.
  • Inspect motor assembly: Remove rear panel, check rotor bolt tightness and wiring to stator and Hall sensor.
  • Replace Hall sensor or stator: If wiring is intact, the Hall sensor is a common failure. If stator windings are burnt, replace the stator assembly.
