Failed heater element, Faulty NTC sensor, Loose heater wiring, Control board heater circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and allow it to cool before working near the heater.
- Inspect heater and sensor: Access the heater at the bottom of the tub and check for loose connectors or burnt terminals.
- Test heater and NTC: Measure resistance of both components and compare to Midea specifications. Replace any that are out of range.
- Check control board: If components are good, the heater relay or control circuit on the PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
