Washer displays E8; water level is too high or overflows into the drum.

Safety first: Unplug the washer immediately and turn off the water taps if water is continuously entering the drum.

• Stop water flow: Close both hot and cold water taps to prevent further filling.
• Check inlet valve: If water continues to flow into the drum with the washer unplugged, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
• Inspect pressure system: Check the pressure hose from tub to sensor for disconnection, cracks, or blockages. Reattach securely and clear any obstructions.
• Test water level sensor: Verify the sensor clicks when pressure is applied (by gently blowing into the hose). Replace if unresponsive or if readings are out of range.
• Control board: If the valve closes when unplugged but overfills only during operation, the control board may be mis-controlling the valve and may require replacement by a technician.
