Possible Causes

Blocked pressure chamber or pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch (water level sensor), Sticking water inlet valve, Control module sensing error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the washer and close the water tap. Do not operate the machine if it is visibly overfilled.

  • Check for continuous filling: With the machine unplugged and tap open, observe if water still enters. If yes, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the thin pressure hose running from the bottom side of the tub to the pressure switch. Check for kinks, splits, or blockages.
  • Clean pressure chamber: At the tub connection, the pressure chamber can clog with detergent residue. Carefully remove the hose and flush the chamber and hose with hot water until clear.
  • Test pressure switch: With the switch removed and the washer unplugged, gently blow into the pressure hose port; you should hear distinct clicks. Use a multimeter to verify contact change when pressure is applied. Replace the switch if it does not operate correctly.
  • Reassemble and test: Refit all hoses securely with clamps, reinstall the top cover, and run a short cycle to confirm normal filling and no E04.
