Possible Causes

Excessive mains water pressure, Sticking inlet valve, Faulty flow meter, Incorrect hose installation

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the washer and close the water tap.

  • Check water pressure: If your mains pressure is very high, consider fitting a pressure-reducing valve on the supply line to the washer.
  • Inspect inlet valve: Remove the top cover and check the inlet valve assembly for signs of mechanical sticking or debris. Replace if the valve does not close reliably.
  • Verify hose installation: Ensure hot and cold hoses (if applicable) are connected to the correct inlets and that any supplied restrictors are installed as per the Neff manual.
  • Test operation: After adjustments or replacement, run a short cycle and observe the fill level. The water should stop below the bottom of the door glass.
