Safety: Unplug the washer before accessing any internal electronics.

• Power reset: Disconnect the washer from mains for at least 5–10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Reconnect and try a short cycle.
• Inspect connectors: Remove the top cover and locate the main control module. Check that all multi-pin connectors are fully seated and free of corrosion or burning.
• Check for visible damage: Look for burnt components or tracks on the PCB. If present, the board must be replaced.
• Board replacement: Label and disconnect all plugs, remove the mounting screws, and install a new Neff-compatible control module. Transfer any configuration jumpers as per service documentation.
• Professional service: Because E20 often indicates internal electronics failure, consider a qualified technician if you are not experienced with PCB handling.
