Possible Causes
Cracked sump hose, Loose hose clamp, Leaking drain pump, Faulty heater or tub seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply.
- Identify leak location: Remove rear and/or side panels. Run a short fill cycle while observing the underside with a torch (keep clear of moving parts).
- Check sump and hoses: Inspect the large tub-to-pump hose, drain hose, and dispenser hoses for splits or loose clamps. Replace or tighten as needed.
- Inspect pump and heater seals: Look for drips around the pump body and heater flange. Replace seals or the entire component if leaking.
- Dry base tray: If water has collected in the base, dry it thoroughly to prevent AquaStop errors.
