Possible Causes
Faulty motor tachometer, Loose motor connector, Damaged drive belt slipping, Motor control PCB fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the rear panel.
- Step 1 – Inspect drive belt: Remove the rear panel and check the belt between the motor and drum pulley. If frayed, loose, or glazed, replace the belt.
- Step 2 – Check motor connector: Ensure the motor plug is fully seated and free of corrosion. Reseat it.
- Step 3 – Test tachometer: Measure resistance of the tachometer coil on the motor. If open or shorted, the motor assembly may need replacement.
- Step 4 – PCB diagnosis: If mechanical parts and tachometer are good, the motor control section of the PCB may be defective and require professional replacement.
