How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap. Tilt the machine only with assistance to avoid injury.
- Step 1 – Visual inspection: Remove the rear panel and inspect the drain hose, pump, and sump hose while adding a small amount of water to the drum. Look for drips or spray.
- Step 2 – Tighten clamps: Use a screwdriver or pliers to tighten any loose hose clamps at the pump and tub connections.
- Step 3 – Replace damaged hoses: If the external drain hose or internal sump hose is cracked or swollen, replace with the correct Schulthess part and new clamps.
- Step 4 – Pump housing: Check the pump body for hairline cracks or leaks around the seal. Replace the pump assembly if leaking.
