Possible Causes
Unbalanced loads causing repeated spin attempts, Slow heating due to scaled heater, Low water pressure, Sensor misreadings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before internal descaling or heater checks.
- Step 1 – Observe behavior: Note if the machine repeatedly tries to spin and stops, or if it spends a long time heating.
- Step 2 – Balance loads: Wash mixed loads rather than single heavy items. Ensure the drum is not overfilled.
- Step 3 – Descale heater: Run a maintenance cycle at high temperature with a suitable descaling agent to remove limescale from the heater and tub.
- Step 4 – Check water supply: Ensure adequate water pressure and clean inlet filters so filling is not excessively slow.
- Step 5 – Sensor check: If delays persist, temperature or water level sensors may be misreading and should be tested and replaced if out of spec.
